Big Dreams Big Faith

We all have a dream, idea, or vision in our hearts that seem out of our reach. The dream may be so big, that it’s almost impossible to see how it can happen in real life. The sad thing is, once we see it as “too big” we tend to not go after it or even speak of it. Then we no longer have that dream. As children, we didn’t shy away from our dreams and what we wanted to do when we grew up, even if it was crazy. However, as we get older, we let life, opinions, fear, and doubt bury our dreams, faith, and confidence that we had before.
Our big dreams seem impossible because God gave them to us, and they are not to be achieved without him. He wants us to seek him first above all else, and he will help you bring your dream to life. As long as you have faith, they are obtainable. There’s no dream or idea too big for God to handle. Don’t let anyone make you feel like you can’t go after more in life. You don’t have to settle for what your family did and what they believe you should do.
Start dreaming big again. If you can see it in faith, it can become a reality. You have to be willing to fight for it because it may not come easy. But believe it will be worth it. These 5 keys help me in my journey of chasing my dreams. Hopefully, they get you dreaming again:
Keys to chasing your dreams:
Write down as much detail about your dream. Whatever is in your heart write it down
Seek God and pray over that dream. You have to give your dreams back to him for his blessing
Make a plan with the steps you know to take and goals to reach
Seek God daily along the journey
After you do all you can do, rest and watch God do the rest.
Your dreams and ideas could help inspire someone else’s dream and change the lives around you. God has given you everything you need to see it through. Don’t focus on how big it is but focus on the one who can help make it happen.
